So I thought I would do a short blog post on some of the awesome things I picked up whilst travelling around Myanmar. One of the great things about going to a new country, on the other side of the world, is all the amazing unique things you can find and bring home with you!
So here it is my Myanmar haul….
The country has a great tradition of weaving and making beautiful fabrics so inevitably I picked up a lot of gorgeous fabrics for future projects.
Some of the other things I picked up include; a bright coloured clutch bag, some black and white traditional sketches, brass door pulls in the shape of elephants, a terracotta dish in the shape of a leaf, small dishes made from shells, lots and lots of shells (they’re just too pretty!), a silk pillow case and small straw shoulder bag.
These gorgeous makeup bags are from a lovely little shop in Yangon called Yoyamay we also bought a pillow case from here.
